Helen is a Music and Mathematics graduate who specialised in orchestration and composition at University. Alongside her academic compositions she continued to write music for her on pleasure, and this site is a collection of those works.

Her influences include Ralph Vaughan-Williams, Benjamin Britten and Debussy amongst others.

Helen continues to play music as a pianist and an orchestral viola player. She enjoys attempting to play any instrument she can lay her hands on, which in the past has included the double bass, alto flute, violin, clarinet and saxophone.
